Are you a soon-to-be bride busy planning your big day? Here are five big wedding trends to look out for in 2019!
1. Living Coral
Pantone releases its "Colour of the Year" on an annual basis and this year the colour is Living Coral. Pantone.com describes the colour as "an animating and life-affirming coral hue with a golden undertone that energizes and enlivens with a softer edge". The colour embraces warmth and intimacy and is therefore perfect for 2019 weddings. Using this colour will bring vibrancy and life to your wedding, while still remaining romantic and soft.
2. The gift of entertainment
Gone are the days of jams and fudge on your wedding table. Modern day wedding couples are now following the route of providing the gift of entertainment. Some great ideas include: Photobooths, DIY gin bars, Cartoonists, Craft beer and many more.
3. Eco-lux
Think Green. 2019 weddings are filled with greenery and different shades of the colour green. This palette creates soft tones while bringing a sense of growth and calmness to your wedding. Love this trend? Our "Going Greek" theme will fit perfectly! - Shop it here.
4. Minimalistic gowns
Thank you Duchess of Sussex! Gowns with little to no detail take center stage in 2019. The focus is on "easy elegance" with various fabric handles, such as flowy, draped or structured, being used. Why not match it up with our minimalistic wedding stationary?
5. Decorating with cutlery and crockery
Your basic whites and silvers are taking the back seat. More and more weddings are incorporating bold cutlery and crockery to their tables. With patterned plates and black cutlery, tables are brought to life. The bonus is that less decorative items such as flowers are needed to complete the look, which could help you save on some of the costs (as flowers are generally one of your highest wedding expenses).
