Date nights are essential for keeping a good, healthy marriage going. Luckily, you don't have to break the bank in order to have a fun night with your spouse. The idea is to get creative, spend quality time together and to let loose and have fun! Here are some of our favourite ideas:
1. The Couch Wine Tour
Each spouse has to bring x2 or 3 of their favourite wines (you can even buy small bottles), and a snack to pair it up with. Have a fun evening of wine tasting on the couch and voting for your favourite, and worst pairings.

2. Christmas Bed
Feel like a kid again and carry your mattress out to in front of the TV. Grab some popcorn and your favourite movie while snuggling up next to each other.

3. Treasure Hunt
Each spouse has to hide a similar object somewhere in the house and make up a treasure hunt with about 5 consecutive clues. Take turns as to where in the house you can start hiding clues and the treasure. Whoever finds the treasure first gets a special something from their spouse which can be decided on before the game starts.

4. Board Games with a Twist
Rethink your favourite board game by adding custom cards, rewards and actions. The idea is to make it fun, romantic and intimate - in this way, everybody wins! For example - Cluedo cards can be changed to rooms in the house, specific body parts, like the neck and certain actions, such as massage. Who ever wins gets the "murder" combo.

5. Spa Date
Put on some masks, give each other a back massage and end the night in a warm bubble bath with lots of bath salts. Just wind down and enjoy the relaxing time together.
